Marja-series strawberry shaker designed by Esteri Tomula for Arabia. The decoration was produced on ET-model shakers in 1959–75. Shakers were made with several different berry motifs. The outlines of the decorations were applied as transfer prints and the colored areas are hand-painted. The shaker has only one hole, so it is a pepper shaker. A salt shaker, by contrast, has five holes. The shaker’s height is 41 mm, the base diameter 30 mm and the top 20 mm. The shaker for sale is intact and otherwise in good condition; the original bottom plug is also in place.
