A plate from the Blå Blom series, originally produced by Gustafsberg since 1870. The series is Sweden’s oldest continuously manufactured industrial product. The small blue flower decoration actually represents a bunch of grapes, but the misleading name is possibly due to the fact that very few Scandinavians had seen grapes at the time. The diameter of the plate is 14.5 cm. Based on the stamps, the plates on sale were manufactured between 1940 and 1970. The plates are intact and in good condition, with some signs of wear.
