Red melamine serving bowl from the Fiskamin-series designed for Fiskars by Olof Bäckström. The series was the first extensive Finnish plastic tableware, which, in keeping with the spirit of the times, was boldly colorful and minimalist in its simplicity. It included bowls of various sizes, mugs, round and square plates, as well as an egg cup and a marmalade jar. The products were available in orange, red, three different greens, white, yellow, brown, graphite grey and violet. The series also included decorated pieces. The series was in production from 1961 to 1973 and was designed by Olof Bäckström. The bowl for sale shows very slight signs of use.
