The blue-black Gardenia-series vase designed by Erkkitapio Siiroinen for Riihimäen lasille. The series was in production in 1976 and a total of 7 different sizes were produced. Production of the vase ended at the end of 1976, when Riihimäen lasi stopped manufacturing blown glass. The vase’s black color was achieved with cobalt blue, and when viewed against the light that blue color becomes visible. The vase’s height is 14 cm and diameter 18.8 cm. The vase is intact and otherwise in good condition.
