A solid green Matti and Maija figurine designed by Artturi Numminen for Kupittaan Savi. The figurine was designed in the 1930s and at first it was produced only in a single color. By the 1950s the molds had become worn enough that the figures began to be painted so that facial expressions and other details stood out better. The height of the figurine for sale is approx. 16 cm. The figurine is intact and otherwise in good condition.
